Purity Laundry Project Inc

We are seeking volunteers to assist during scheduled laundry assistance sessions. Volunteers help guests register or sign in if they are already registered, guide guests to available washers and dryers, and distribute free detergent and dryer sheets. Volunteers do not handle guests’ clothing. We do not do the washing, drying, or folding of clothing. Volunteers simply cover the cost of laundry using Purity Laundry Project funds—either through the laundromat app or with quarters—and accurately document those costs. Our work is relational as much as it is practical. Volunteers are encouraged to engage guests with kindness, respect, and compassion, helping create a welcoming and dignified environment. During a typical three-hour session, we may serve 50 or more families, so multiple volunteers are needed. We also provide free refreshments for guests, which require monitoring and restocking.
