Could include:
- Attending and actively participating in Board meetings and discussions
- Reviewing materials in advance and contributing to informed decision-making
- Supporting the development of organizational goals, priorities, and strategic direction
- Providing oversight of financial health, programs, and overall operations
- Serving on at least one committee and contributing to its work
- Acting as an abassador for the Village within the community
- Supporting efforts related to fundraising, outreach, and partnerships
- Bringing forward ideas, feedback, and perspectives to support growth and improvement
- Helping ensure the organization is operation responsibly and in alignment with its mission
- Supporting and collaborating with staff to strengthen programs and services
