Who We Are
Faith Deanna Johnson Foundation, named in honor of a rising journalist, that died from this silent killer at the age of 26 due to being misdiagnosed and dismissed. We are advocates for this disease to save lives in her memory. The Faith Deanna Johnson Act, was passed on March 21, 2024 - this legislation mandates insurance coverage in Delaware for testing of this cancer.
What We Do
Our Mission - Early Detection, Awareness and Prevention of Ovarian Cancer and other gynecologic cancers. We host an Annual Walk in September for Ovarian Cancer Awareness, this year our walk will be on September 12, 2026 at the University of Delaware - Bob Hanna Stadium (College Ave). Our mission is to save lives of women from this deadly cancer that is a silent killer and the #1 cause of gynecologic cancer deaths. Raising Awareness and promoting early detection.
