Who We Are
Every year, volunteers from across the state come out to Coastal Cleanup, a coordinated cleanup of the Delaware coast at over 45 sites in mid-September. Volunteer efforts help make the beaches and wetlands safer for humans and wildlife and assist in gathering data that is recorded internationally about trash found on the coast by the Ocean Conservancy. We have information about this long running cleanup and access to the registration for individuals and groups on our webpage de.gov/coastalcleanup. Additionally, we have other various events throughout the year that may be in need of volunteers.
