Who We Are
We are longtimetime residents of Delaware who have lead the Shoes That Fit Delaware Chapter for almost 30 years. We work with a trusted nonprofit organization in each county to run our Student Shoe Banks and we provide the new, brand name sneakers free to students in need throughout Delaware.
What We Do
Shoes That Fit Delaware provides free brand name sneakers to homeless, low-income and foster students in all 3 counties of Delaware. We have Student shoe banks in each county that work with schools to help order, fulfill and distribute the shoes to the school professionals who discreetly distribute to their students in need. We also provide new socks with the sneakers. Most importantly, we tackle one of the most visible signs of poverty in Delaware by giving children in need new brand name sneakers to attend school with dignity and joy, prepared to learn, play and thrive.
