Who We Are
Historic Odessa is a colonial town that educates the public about its history and the state of Delaware in the 18th and 19th centuries. The historic houses include an excellent collection of furniture and decorative arts. The stories of the families who lived here demonstrate how the state developed, and how it connects to the present.
What We Do
Historic Odessa offers tours of the houses, welcomes many school groups, presents 18th-century hearth-cooking demonstrations, offers December holiday tours based on a book/author, hosts workshops and lectures, presents art exhibits, and organizes annual events such as Brewfest, Twinklefest, and an Easter Egg Hunt.
