Delaware State Office Of Volunteerism And The Governor's Commission On Community & Volunteer Service

The Delaware State Office of Volunteerism, in partnership with the Delaware Commission on Community and Volunteer Service, provides statewide leadership for the promotion and encouragement of volunteerism through the hosting of special events such as Make a Difference Day, Governor's Outstanding Volunteer Awards and the administration of the Delaware Volunteer Credit. The Delaware Commission on Community and Volunteer Service is committed to enriching lives and communities by advocating service and volunteerism. The State Office of Volunteerism houses such National Service Programs as Learn and Serve, AmeriCorps, Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), and the Foster Grandparent Program. The Delaware Volunteer Resource Center provides a volunteer referral service to agencies and members of the public and provides resources and training and technical assistance on the subject of volunteer management.
