The Trap Pond Partners mission is to promote preservation, protection, and enhancement of the historical, natural, and recreational resources of Trap Pond State Park. Assist DNREC & Park Staff in implementing park improvements. Follow the States commitment for "No Child Left Inside" by sponsoring educational, & recreational programs & activities to encourage children's health. Cultivate an appreciation of Trap Pond as a great natural resource for all ages.
The Partners promote annual fundraisers to help support the park, such as their:
- Beer, Wine, Spirits Festival
- Nature Festival
- Get in Gear Family Bike Rally
- Selling concessions at Trap Pond's Free Summer Saturday Concerts
