City of Dover Public Works- Stormwater Division

Public Works' mission statement: The mission of the Department of Public Works is to provide the highest quality services to residents, businesses, visitors and departments of the City of Dover with first-rate, prompt, efficient customers service and a positive, helpful attitude towards our community. The Stormwater Division's goal of making Dover "Stormwater Smart" is accomplished through the shared values of respect, honesty, integrity, innovation, teamwork, and collaboration.

The Stormwater Division prepares the City's NPDES MS4 Phase II permit. Through the permit, the City has a Stormwater Management Plan (available on the Public Works website under Stormwater Program) that includes public outreach and public involvement. We have outreach events in the fall and spring to fulfill this part of our Stormwater Management Plan.
