Volunteer Delaware 50+ (Statewide Program)
Volunteer Delaware 50+ is a statewide program that connects adults age 50 and older with meaningful volunteer opportunities in their communities. As part of the State Office of Volunteerism, we partner with local organizations to support programs that strengthen communities, promote independence, and enhance quality of life across Delaware. Volunteers bring valuable skills, experience, and a commitment to service that make a lasting impact.
Volunteer Delaware 50+ engages volunteers in a variety of programs that support community needs across the state. Opportunities include initiatives such as CareWear, where volunteers create handmade items for those in need, and Matter of Balance, which helps older adults improve balance and reduce the risk of falls. Volunteers may also assist with community outreach, education, and service projects in partnership with local nonprofits, healthcare organizations, and community centers.
